Fact-Check Fails: CBSE Debunks Middle East Exam Cancellation Hoax!

CBSE logo with a red 'fake' stamp over a circular, symbolizing debunked exam cancellation rumors in the Middle East.

It seems the internet, ever the purveyor of dreams and nightmares, has once again bestowed upon students in the Middle East a brief, glorious flicker of hope: 'Exams cancelled!' Alas, the academic Grim Reaper, in the form of the CBSE, has swiftly swooped in to remind everyone that even in the age of viral misinformation, some things, like board exams, remain stubbornly real. One almost pities the poor souls who allowed themselves to believe in such a delightful fantasy, only for reality to hand them back their textbooks with a stern, parental glare.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has indeed issued a clear and concise warning, addressing a particularly persistent fake circular making rounds on various social media platforms. This deceptive document falsely claimed that certain Class 10 and 12 board examinations for the 2025-26 academic session in the Middle East had been cancelled. CBSE has unequivocally clarified that no such cancellation order has been issued, urging students, parents, and schools to disregard the misinformation and rely solely on official communications from the board for accurate updates.
