Either way, it's a wonderfully literal interpretation of 'groundbreaking' technology, proving that even our smartest machines sometimes need a little lie-down.
Installed across 92 sites as part of an ambitious surveillance project, these AI-powered cameras were designed to usher in a new era of traffic management in Goa. However, reports are now surfacing that many of these units are sagging or physically pointing downwards, rendering them ineffective and raising significant safety and maintenance concerns. Local authorities are reportedly aware of the issue, and repairs are said to be pending, leaving a multi-crore investment literally looking at its feet.
